My meals plus a camera in US on the 30th of November
It's 6.15am EST on 30/11 . Went downstairs for the hotel breakfast. Saw the CNN news on TV. 2 news items: David Hasselhoff's ex-wife was convicted due to drunk driving & Dubai's crisis will affect US. I find the news interesting, partly because I can understand it :-) It's different from my experience in Japan for obvious reasons. In US, I can enjoy things better, which includes listening to small talks around me.
Here are the descriptions for pictures from left to right:

This is my breakfast. According to my mum, this ain't American; it's English breakfast :-) I kinda agree because scramble eggs & waffles were missing. But let's talk about what's there. The egg's cute & strange at the same time because the egg yellow's shape was a near perfect circle.
Then there's something crispy & crumbles in my mouth. I don't know what it was, but I'll call it American scones :-) Tastes really good. As usual, I had my daily dose of milk + cereal. It's definitely not fresh cow's milk as it failed to compare with the one I drank in Perth, Australia.
The wheat bread was ok & I ate with the egg. Another pastry was really sweet. Maybe Americans like things to be sweet? Fruits were a disappointment because they don't taste like they're supposed to! :-D Calvin said only the grapes tasted like grapes. I suspect that the fruits are from cans rather than freshly cut. First time experiencing this in a hotel breakfast.

Had dinner @ Chili's. The picture shows a menu holder with a big chili on top. That's proof that I ate there. Can't stand the cold outside to take a picture of the signboard :-D Calvin had mango tea while I drank sky juice :-) Found out that mine's free.

Now, this has rice. It's called Taco chicken combo set. At $9, I think it's cheaper than what one can get from Chili's in Malaysia. The set had something kind of pastry that tasted like capati plus some pickles. Overall, the taste is acceptable. But I had expected it to be the same or better than Malaysian western food. I guess the Malaysian version has undergone fusion with the local culture. That's our advantage :-)
Weird thing about my appetite in US so far is that I feel hungry pretty fast, but after eating a lot, I feel neither full nor hungry. Sounds dangerous to me as I don't know when to stop :-)

Don't worry. This isn't an advertisement about using animal skin to make security cameras. Rather, it's Panasonic product brochure about a surveillance camera for pets. I find it pretty interesting as the featured animals are closely associated with me ;-) Must be resaonably priced. Otherwise, pet owners can't afford one.
